A mob stormed the Bastille, a Paris prison, to show up the act of revolution. The mob overwhelmed the guard conquered the building, and killed the prison commander and some guards. Then they paraded around the streets with the heads of dead men's on pikes. This became the great symbolic act of revlotion. -
