Meeting of the representatives from each state at the palace of Versailles to debate the political crisis. They took the opportunity to be heard by the king. -

The voting for the National Assembley took place (the people fom the third estate were involved) wich later led to the Tennis court of Oath. -

7 prisoners escaped from the punishment they had, alhtough they were only 7 it represents the symbol of the abuse of manrchy that was happening. -

The declaration was influenced by Thomas Jefferson and came up with "natural rights" -
Bread Riots
Food prices were being raised including bread because of all the spendings that the king was doing. -

There were some reforms that they came across in an assembly in france... They were chanes that had to do with both government and church. -
Royal Family attempts to flee
The king had fear his own life as well as his familys life so he attempted to go to Austria and failed. -
New Constitution
This constitution was elected by indirect voting. -
Legislative Assembly declares war
Declares war with Austria, although the french feard them at first. -
Abolished Monarchy
In the Legislative Assembly they voted to abolish the monarchy and establish the First Republic.
