On June 20, 1789, all the deputies come together to make the constitution they had to change their location to a indoor tennis court because of the inconvenience the doors were locked and they made an oath that they wouldn't leave until it was complete. -
The Attack
On July 14, 1789, there had been a rumor that the king's troops were going to attack, and what happened was they managed to get the bridge down and they were fighting for a while even the French guard decide they wanted in the fight the prison warden had been weakened and given up and surrendered and the prisoners cut off his head. -

On August 4, 1789, the National Assembly took away the privileges of the nobles and the clergy. -

In August 1792, the monarchy had plummeted. The sans-culottes had attacked the palace and the royal family had to find protection. -

In 1801, Napoleon agreed with the pope which recognized Catholicism as the religion of a majority of the French people. The Pope would not ask for the return of the church lands seized in the revolution. -
Russian Retreat/Burn of Villages
In June of 1812, an army of more than 600,000 men
entered Russia. Napoleon desired that a quick victory over the Russians would be insured. However, the Russian forces not only refused to do battle, but they retreated. As they retreated, they burned their own villages and countryside. The aim of this was to keep Napoleon’s army from finding food. -
