The Bastille is stormed
The Bastille is stormed by an aggressive mob. The mob ends up killing all of the Bastille's guards, along with it's commander. The mob raided the stockrooms and armory for gunpowder and armaments. They later used the guns and supplies in the revolution. -

The Reign of Terror was the period in the French Revolution when Maximilien Robespierre came into power, and the censorship, beheading, and public generated by his incredibly invasive and smothering laws about speaking out against the French Government.
