    After teh peasants saw they could succeed in acts of rebellion they started to do it more often. A great fear filled the country as peasants revoledt all over France causing a lot of chaos. People were not happy.

    This declaration included many of the ideas of the Enlightenment era and was also inspired by the American Revolution. The French were very divided and this declaration declared all as equal in rights and value.

    A rumour that King Louis had stepped on the French flag spread and women made a march demanding bread. King Louis XVI signs the Declaration of the Rights of man.

    With the uprests in France, Marie Antoinette was convinced they needed to flee. Their escape only lasted until Varennes, where they were recognized and escorted back to Paris through mobs of angry citizens.

    After France went to war against Austria and as it still was unfair, the population turned against their king. They attacked the Tuileries where the royal family was living. They demand a new constitution and after this they got it.

    The comittee of Public Safety mobilizes all of the French Population to the war. All men from 18-25 who weren´t married were listed.

    Robespierre ruled and there were about 200,000 deaths by guillotine around France. You couldn't support the king.
