The Third Estate (Commoners) created a new name for themselves: the National Assembly. -

The National Assembly creates a set of their own rights (inspiration from Colonists and their Constitution) and name it the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen. -
Women's March on Versailles
A large mob of women with pitchforks and torches go to the Palace of Versailles and demand that King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette lower the prices of bread after rumors spread that the queen was keeping large amounts of wheat to herself -
King Louis XVI Signs the New Constitution
King Louis XVI finally accepts the new constitution the National Assembly had created, accepting what it said. -
Creation of the First French Republic
The first french republic is created in France. This meant that monarchy was abolished and the first meeting of the National Convention. In said meeting they attempted to try King Louis XVI guilty for treason and did so accurately, sentencing him to be executed. -
Execution of King Louis XVI
After the meeting of the National Convention and King Louis XVI execution is set, the day came and he was executed by guillotine. Once his head was cut off, they held it and people began to cheer. -
End of the Reign of Terror
After about an estimation of 17,000 deaths by the guillotine in the Reign of Terror Robespierre is overthrown. This is considered the official end of the Reign of Terror. -
Directory Takes Over
The Directory, a new form of government that took over France for four years has just been added. It consisted of an executive and legislative branch, "Five Directors" and "Corps Legislatif." The management of the Directory was rather weak, and so it banished in four years mainly because of internal corruption.
