    This event was very important at the time. Many women were stay at home moms and cooked meals for their families while they were out at work. Some popular things to cook were bread and soups. In order to bake bread you need wheat. The king took that away and so Women and their family went on a march towards Versailles and demanded bread back for their family to eat.

The king wanted to leave just to cause a counter Revolution on the monarchy. They weren't phased by this and he began to become hated. This later lead to his execution.

A statement was issued that there was gonna be support to the French Monarchy and the European war. This got much backlash and people got very very mad.     Louis XVI convicted of conspiracy with foreign powers and sentenced to death by the French National Convention. This has to do with him trying to leave French. He walked out on January 21. He also had financial problems with his grandfather that led to his grandfather
