Marked the start of the French Revolution. An assembly that was composed of the three estates, nobility and commoners. It started when they were all granted the power to impose new taxes and to take part in reforms across the county. This event took place in Versailles. -

The real name of this event is actually, Déclaration des droits de l'homme et du citoyen. This event granted specific and individual rules, laws and rights to certain men around this time and the start of the French Revolution. Its shows that the rights of men are natural and universal. it includes certain key elements that were important at the time. -
Woman march on Versailles and force royal family to return to Paris
This event was very important at the time. Many women were stay at home moms and cooked meals for their families while they were out at work. Some popular things to cook were bread and soups. In order to bake bread you need wheat. The king took that away and so Women and their family went on a march towards Versailles and demanded bread back for their family to eat. -
Royal Family is arrested while attempting to flee France
This event is better yet known as Flight to Varennes. When the royal family thought it would be a good idea to leave France. Did they make? No they were arrested for it. The king wanted to leave just to cause a counter Revolution on the monarchy. They weren't phased by this and he began to become hated. This later lead to his execution. -
Austria and Prussia issue the Declaration of Pillnitz
This event will go down in history as a terrible misjudgment. It can also be considered as one of the events to spark the French Revolution. A statement was issued that there was gonna be support to the French Monarchy and the European war. This got much backlash and people got very very mad. It has an opposite reaction then what they were expecting. -
France declares war on Austria
France decided to declare war on Austria. Austria agrees with them and they go on and coordinated with them and the invasion began. This was eventually turned into a battle on September of the same year. The result of the war was a national convention to abolish the monarch -
Parisian mob attacks the palace and takes Louis XVI prisoner
Parisian attecks Tuileries Palace, the official residence of Louis XVI and the home of the Legislative Assembly This eventwas very deadly. they took the people from Louis and burned them and killed them. Louis XVI was executed
Louis XVI convicted of conspiracy with foreign powers and sentenced to death by the French National Convention. This has to do with him trying to leave French. He walked out on January 21. He also had financial problems with his grandfather that led to his grandfather
