    Louis XVI was born in the Palace of Versailles and was the king when the French Revolution started. He ultimately had no choice but to do whatever the revolutionists said but in the end he still got executed by guillotine because he tried to run out of France.

    The Attack on Bastille was the first real violent part of the revolution. The people in Paris were trying to get ready to fight the Kings troops he sent to Paris but they didn't have enough weapons or gunpowder so they hoped they would get some in Bastille which was a large prison in Paris.

    King Louis XVI was very worried about the French Revolution and didn't know what to do so he called in the Estates-General which was a a group of people made up from the three estates. This group has not been called on by the King in generations so was a very big deal.

    Execution of Louis XVI happened in 1793 it was mainly because everyone thought he had betrayed them and the revolution by trying to run out of France and also came the idea that they wanted no trace of the king and his royal blood.

    Napoleon invaded Russia after he felt betrayed by the Russian Czar Alexander because he traded with Great Britain. The Russians knew they couldn't beat Napolean and his massive army head on so they used the scorched earth method. This method is when you fight for a bit then retreat and destroy all of the resources you left which means when its winter time Napoleons army started dying of starvation and freezing to death so he eventually had to retreat.
