Estates General
The Esates General is called to try to solve problems in each estate. -
Fall of the Bastille
On this date, the national essembly riots at the bastille, then later demolishes it. -
Revolt/National Assembly Acts
Most of the population is poor and begin to revolt for more food and wages -
Threats from Abroad
Louis XIV fails his escape from France and a threat of war is quickly heating up. -
Civil War/ Radicals take over
The Legeslative Assembly took office and later declares war on tyranny. -
Monarchy is abolished
Mobs raid the royal palace and killed the guards. The royal family fled before the mobs got to them. The king and Queen are later found and exucuted. -
Robespierre "the incorruptable"
Maximilien Robespierre is in leadership of the Committee of Public Safety among the Jaconbins. -

Reign of Terror
Revoulutionary courts held many death sentences during this time period, about 800 each month. -
Third Stage of Revoulution
Guillotine was introduced. Robespierre and the people of France have completely taken over. -
Spread of Nationalism
The strong feeling of pride to ones country spread all throughout France.
