The Falling of the Bastille
The fall of the bastille was caused because the third estate was angered by Louis XVI. This was one of the most famous uprising against the king. This also showed that King Louis XVI had no control of his country. -
Parisian Women March to Versailles
There was a bread shortage in France the king, promised the people that he would supply more. After many days pasted the Parisian women marched 12 miles to Versailles and protested the King's actions. The women rampaged into the palace to force the royal family to live in Paris. -

King Louis was somewhat contributing to the political parts in France. He had to sign a contract that the clergy was not at the top of government. Then he figured that he and his family should leave France like other nobles did because they weren't safe anymore. They hit Varennes and was caught by the National Guard and taken back to Paris. They were back in Paris as prisoners of the people. -
France Declares War on Prussia
Because of the revolution France looked weak to the other European Kings. The European Kings also thought that war could unite their countries. On the 20th of April France declared war on Prussia. -
The Fall of the Royal Family
A radical group called the Jacobin's had great powers in Paris. The Jacobin's idea was to overthrow the monarchy. On the 10th of August a mob of Jacobin's invaded the Tuileries palace. The royal family was already moved to a safer spot but this was one of the bloodiest battles of the revolution there was. -
King Louis XVI was Executed
Before Louis was executed the new government was deciding if the king should have a trial. The new government consists of Jacobins who thought he didn't deserve one and the Girondins that he deserved a trial. King Louis got a trial and was found guilty and was sentenced to death. On January 21st he was executed. -

Robespierre used his power to put on trial and guillotine Danton. Because he did that many people thought that he was a tyrant and should be killed too. They ordered him and his followed to be executed. -
