    The treaty of Paris stopped the french and Indian war.The People of Paris made a treaty and France lost all of their land on North America while Spain and Great Britain took it over and gained all of that land. This led to the parliament's desire to force the American Colonies to pay part of the cost of a standing army in North America after the french and Indian war was over.
