The assembly granted blacks their full french rights, leading to many rebellions. As a result, 2,000 whites and 10,000 blacks died. -

The king was tried for treason after refusing the new constitution.
He was found guilty and sent to the guillotine. -

People were sent to the guillotine for little or no reason. About 40,000 people perished. -
French Admit defeat & evacuate forces
About 50,000 of France's men died. Their military forces failed. -
