    The End Of the French and Indian War
    After seven very long years of numerous casualties and hardships this war came to an end because of the treaties of Hubertusburg and Paris were signed. The British made the decision to save land between the Mississippi river and the Appalachian Mountains for the American Indians which the American colonists were not happy about.

    On this day parliament created a modified version of the sugar and molasses act which required the merchants to pay a tax per gallon of foreign molasses that they contained. This highly impacted the Boston and new England economies because sugar was very important to make run which was one of their main items to trade. However, this act was not a choice it was forced on everyone, and they had to obey.

    The stamp act was forced onto the colonists making them pay a tax on all forms of paper. This was represented by non-other than a stamp. The colonists were obviously not happy, so they went on many strikes and protests and attacked the homes of the people collecting taxes.

    This was an act to show America that the British parliament was very powerful and had all the rights to make them pay taxes. They were trying to show their power and stand for their beliefs.

    This is when numerous laws were passed in Britan that placed taxes on nearly everything. Some of the items were glass, paper, paint, lead, and tea. The taxes were in place to pay the British officials just like how taxes are used today. The colonists were very unhappy with this and tried their best to avoid paying. They thought since they are not in Britain and do not represent anything they should not have to pay.

    The tea act Made it a little easier to ship tea. It would go directly to the colonies without having to needing to pay the duties the colonists were subjected to doing. The colonist's reaction to this was very negative and they hated it. They thought it was an assault to their freedoms which led to the colonist dressing as Indians and dumping the tea and everything on the ship into the water.

    The revolutionary war was going on from the time periods 1775-1783. There was a lot of tension between colonists and Bristish government about taxation and personal rights. The colonists were wanting to escape the British government and Britan itself, so they were trying to gain back their freedom.
