The Boston Massacre is considered to be the first battle of the Revolutionary War. It resulted in death of 5 colonists. British troops were there and tried to stop everything but instead it made it worse. Everything went out of control. -

Declaration of Independence

It was a document explaining why they wanted Independence. The person who wrote the first rough draft was Thomas Jefferson. On July 2nd, their votes were yes and on July 4th, the Congress officialy established the Declaration of Independence.
