  • March on Vesailles

    Women march and force royal family back to Paris. Louis XVI is considered to be a prisoner of Paris until assembly declares its inseparability to him.

  • Gens De Colour Demand Equal Rights From France

  • The French National Assembly Granted Free Blacks Full French Rights in Saint Domingue

    White colonists refused to implement decision and blacks revolt. This left 2000 white and 10,000 blacks dead and the entire politcal structure begins to collapse. (Classroom.monticello.org)
