    Louis XVI was killed by the guillotine by the citizen's of France. The 3rd Estate hated him because, he taxed so high that the peasents and the middle class could not afford to feed and cloth thier family.

    The 3rd Estate hated Marie Antoinette because, when Louis XVI taxed high, Marie used that money to buy herself cloths and luxuries which the 3rd Estate family could have used that money for food. Therefore, they hated Marie.
