Fifteenth Amendment

Nineteenth Amendment
Women have the right to vote. The 19th amendment was passed on Jun. 4, 1919 but wasn't ratified til Aug. 18,1920. -
Twenty-Third Amendment
Allowed for those in the District of Columbia (Washington DC) to vote. The 23rd amendment first proposed on Jun 17, 1960. -
Twenty-Fourth Amendment
Bans the poll tax requirement for federal elections. The 24th amendment was first proposed on August 27, 1962. -
Voting Rights act of 1965
Banned the literacy test as a prerequisite for voting. All U.S. citizens can vote. -
Twenty-sixth Amendment
Sets the minimum voting age at 18. All U.S. citizens 18 years or older can vote. The 26th amendment was first proposed on Mar. 23, 1971 and later adopted on Jul. 1, 1971; It was officially adopted 6 days later.
