He was riding in his car through a sea of people with his wife Jacqueline qhen his attacker shot him in the back of the head. President John F. Kennedy was then pronounced dead after being assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald.

Black Panther Party assembled under Malcolm X, who created the party in order for defense of minority communities against the U.S. government. The Black Panther Party fought for a great social change in the U.S. It was the only organization in the history of the U.S. that fought against the Black Struggle of slavery and the oppression of the United States. -
Hippie Movement
The Hippie Movement had originally started as a reason for people to escape the social values that were placed on them. These hippies eventually use their means of individuality to express their feelings about the devastating war efforts. Their frustrations would be channeled through protests that explained how frustrated they were with what was wrong in the world. -
Assassination of Robert Kennedy
After the death of his brother, John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy had seen fit to run for presidency. He hoped to bring the same amount of prestige and honor to the U.S. that his brother, John, once did. Unfortunately, Robert Kennedy was also assassinated just as his brother was as his chances of winning the election were very high.

After conducting various research, NASA was finally able to send a rocket to the moon and bacl. U.S. astronauts Edwin Aldrin, and Neil Armstrong accomplished the mission of making it to the Moon. The astronauts had officially placed the U.S. flag on the moon on the 21st of July, 1969. -
Watergate Scandal
The Watergate Scandal was a political scandal between the democrats and republicans involving President Richard Nixon. Apparently, a group of people working for Nixon had infiltrated the democrats' informational base. The public and press had soon found out, which soon led to Nixon's resignation. -
Attempted Assassination of Ronald Reagan
As President Reagan was leaving a National Conference from the Hilton Hotel after making a speech when a man, John Hinckley, attempted the assassination of the president by firing six bullets in his direction. It was only two months into Reagan's presidency. Reagan survived, unfortunately his attacker was found not guilty on account of insanity.
