    Long Term Health Plan

    My long term health plan is to loose 5 pounds by my vacation next month and then maintaining that weight after and so forth.

    Must Be On my Terms

    This goal is 100% on my own terms. This is my own goal not "my parent’s, my teacher’s, or anyone else’s" (Goal Setting Skills pg.11).

    Dream Big, Start Small

    "Goals should be seen more as the critical steps we take on the path to our dreams"(Goal Setting Skills pg.13). I'm think about the big dream that I want to be in prime shape, however Im not going to jump right into that. I have to work my way up.

    Happiness

    I am making happiness on my own terms. I am doing so by letting me feel confident with myself. "The final component of happiness defined by Seligman is finding meaning in what is accomplished in life"(Goal Setting Skills pg.12). Doing my goal I will feel accomplished with myself.

    Take Stock Along The Way

    You have to be careful. Goals can making you fell great about yourself especially if you achieve your goal in a quicker amount of time or if you exceed your goal. However, it can give you a huge shout go anxiety if you are always trying to reach happiness. Thats why I'm going to be extra careful in sticking to my timeline.
