    Every year for over 15 years now, the Royalette Dance Team travels to Orlando, Florida to compete in the National Dance Team Championship. This was the first time I got to go with my team and compete in Disney World!

He starred in classics like "Mrs. Doubtfire," "Good Will Hunting," "Jumanji," "Dead Poets Society," "Flubber," and was even the voice of the genie in "Aladdin." He took his life suddenly in 2014.

  • My first major failure

    My first major failure
    My junior year I applied to be an officer on my dance team which was essentially a captains position. I applied, interviewed and stressed for weeks but I did not get a position. It was my first major failure I had ever faced and it has been a huge motivator in my life to be a leader.

    Three Muslim students were shot and killed at UNC Chapel Hill. The victims were a newlywed couple and the bride's younger sister. It was said to be a terrorist act.

    Meeting my other half
    In 2017, I met my boyfriend, Andrew Kakaley, and he quickly became the most important person in my life. He is in the Marine Corps and graduates with a masters this summer in Mechanical Engineering. Meeting him has changed my life in the best way possible.
