The First Morrill Act
Justin Smith Morrill, a Vermont Congressman,land grant system developed. Land sales were used to fund land grant college programs. -
CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT
On September 15, 1950 educational opportunities were to include and equalize for all children of color. Equality has made great strides within our schools which began with the Civil Rights Movement.
