    The Industrial Revolution changed the daily lives of Americans and created the first millionaires in the United States. It also boosted up the economy and job opportunities for many Americans. Like factories and big companies that required the labored of many citizens. However as the industrialization expanded across the U.S., the pollution came an issue in major cities.

    WW1 started after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and lasted until 1918. This war was fought between the Central powers and the Allied powers. After this war, there was a lot of destruction and over a million people were dead. World War 1 is an important historic event for the U.S. because it is the first modern war that America has participated after many years.

    The Eighteenth Amendment

    The Eighteenth Amendment was replaced by the Twenty-First Amendment. Which gave the citizens the right to consume alcohol again after the the 18 amendment was enforced. Many Americans protested against the amendment because they would get in trouble with the law.

    The 1920s was the year were there was a lot of social and political change. Throughout this year, economic growth was rising. During the 1920s, people had a little more cash to spend, and they would spend it on clothes and home appliances. During these year, people did whatever they wanted and they could go wherever they pleased. These were the years of new music, dances, and new advances.

    The Great Depression started in 1929 and ended in 1939. The thing that caused the Great Depression was the stock market crash of October 1929. The stock market crash sent Wall Street into panic and many investors panicked. The Great Depression caused many people to lose their jobs, go hungry, or even die.

    The New Deal was first created by President Roosevelt and it created programs and job opportunities for the citizens. This stabilized the economy and provided jobs for millions of Americans during the 1930's.

    The Holocaust was a period in history, when millions of Jews died. This was organized by the Nazis party, led by Adolf Hitler. Jews were always the main target for the Nazis. The Nazis also killed other people, including gypsies, disabled, and gay people. They would take up the rights of the people and also killed a lot of people.

    World War 2 started in 1939 to 1945. This war started was started by Germany when they invaded Poland. The Prime Minister of Britain declared war on Germany on September 3rd, 1939. The allies during this war were The United States, Britain, France, and Russia. The Axis had Germany, Italy, and Japan. World War 2 ended when Germany surrendered.

    Pearl Harbor was a surprise attack by Japan in 1941. Which was an important event to our history because it gave the United States a reason to enter WW2. The attack was in Hawaii and many Americans died trying to get eliminate the Japanese.

    During WW2 the Japanese where fled from their own homes and where taken to internment camps. Thousands of Japanese lived in a certain restricted area which later was seen as a bad reputation for the U.S. This is an important event for our history because looking back to the past it was a wrong thing for the U.S. to incarcerate citizens for the lack of trust and race.
