START OF FRESHMAN YEAR!!!
I began my freshman year on August 2, 2010. I wasn't doing band and didn't have any facial hair quite yet. I was playing football and our team went 9-0 that year. -
END OF FRESHMAN YEAR
Its the end of the first year and I'm excited for summer vacation. I've just quit football (I hated it) and now I have all the time in the world! So ready to hang out with friends! -
START OF SOPHOMORE YEAR
New day, New year. I continue my high school adventure. This time I start band and stay permanetly. This year I meet people who shall be my friends for the next three years. -
Intermediate LGPE Performance
This is my first LGPE performance since my eighth grade year. I was scared, excited, and nervous all at once. The band and I went out there and did our best. I'm pretty sure we got 3s and 4s that day. -
END OF SOPHOMORE YEAR
Another end to another year. Sophomore year was exciting but all excitement must die down at some point. However, as school comes to an end, my first year of marching band begins. -
Drum Line Tryouts
Drum line tryouts happened...and I didn't make it. I swallow all my frustration and sadness in an attempt to mask my disappointment. However, even though I didn't make drum line, I made it into the front ensemble (pit). In pit, I learn to read music and become a strong player. -
START OF JUNIOR YEAR
School started on a Wednesday so it was a three-day week (which was pretty cool). I'm still in intermediate band this year but I do take an AP class this year (AP Statistics with Mrs. Payne). -
END OF JUNIOR YEAR
Its getting close...almost done...one more year. I finish my junior with all As and Bs. Next is drum tryouts. Wish me luck. -
Drum Line Tryouts 2014
I've never been so prepared for something in my whole life. Constant practice, endless hours of lessons, and tired arms. I'm here to show what I made of and get what rightfully mine...and I do! I make drum line and snare drum!!! -
START OF THE END (SENIOR YEAR)
This is the big one!!! I'm ready to finish off my high school career. 2 AP classes, senior project, and marching band...that's not too much. Right??? -
GRADUATION CEREMONY
It's over and I survived!!! It was rough a couple of times. I did a lot of growing up, feeling like I wanna throw up. But now, that cap will be thrown up. Graduation is here and I'm walking!
