    Fidel Castro was born on August 13th 1926 close to Biran, Cuba. He was born to a sugar cane planter. However excelled in school quickly.

    Fidel was very good in school and sports. But later when he went to college joined a campus group in 1945 they wanted power in the government. Before he got his degree he created and joined many groups.

    In 1952 Fidel created a invasion group because the then prime minister Fulgencio Batista because he took away any power in cuba. Also Fulgencio canceled the congress elections. Fidel decided after the years of him training his troops he launched an attack finishing Fulgencio reign as prime minister.

    After defeating batista he was loved by his people. However quickly after the U.S began to think of him as a threat. Then both sides had enough as JFK came into office as we almost went into war with cuba in 1962.

    In 1962 the Soviet union sent missiles to cuba and they armed them close to the U.S . This almost become the beginning of a war between Cuba and the U.S again. Then JFK gave a speech saying if a missile launched from Cuba heading towards the western hemisphere is was considered a threat.

    The Cuban Missile Crisis ended all ties to cuba from the U.S . Fidel Sent troops all over the world for many different things during this time and regained farmland in his home country seeming not concerned with anything from the U.S .

    However in 2006 he gave temporary power to his brother. This was because he was recovering from a sickness. But Fidel never came back to office when in 2008 he announced he would not come back and resigned giving his brother full control of cuba. Years later he died on November, 25, 2016 at 22:29 or 10:29 of natural causes.
