Birth Defect Thalassemia
Thalassemia is a birth defect passed onto the baby from the parents. This is not deadly unless left untreated but it can lead to Feeling tired or out of breath, dark urine, pale or yellow skin, deformed bones in the face. But Thalasemmia can still lead to a stillbirth by Alpha Thalassemia major or Beta Thalassemia major.

Birth Defect Newborn Jaundice

Birth Defect Down Syndrome
Babies with Down Syndrome have an extra copy of chromosomes which changes how the brain and body develop. Many people with this can be healthy but some can require medical aid. The older the pregnant lady is, the higher the chance of down syndrome the child will have. Noticeable features of the baby can include lack of strength, short height, small ears that fold over.
