The baby weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber), from head to heel.The nerve pathways in her ears are developing, which means her response to sounds is growing more consistent. -
Pregnacy week 30
They's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen. -
Pregnacy week 34
Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. -
Pregnacy week 36
She now weighs almost 6 pounds (like a crenshaw melon) and is more than 18 1/2 inches long. She's shedding most of the downy covering of hair that covered her body.Most likely she's in a head-down position. -
Pregnacy week 38
She weighs about 6.8 pounds and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb. -

All of the babies organs will begin to develop and some will even begin to function.Its cells are tunneling into the lining of the mom's uterus.This creates spaces for your blood to flow so that the placenta can provide oxygen and nutrients. -
