During this week the baby doesn't grow yet but mother set the stage and start things off. Week 4
This week marks the beginning of the embryonic period. From now until 10 weeks, all of the baby's organs will begin to grow along with its limbs. As a result, this is the time when the child be most vulnerable to anything that might interfere with her development like disease and other things. -
Week 6
During this week the major body parts that are developing are: The nose, mouth, and ears. This week is also very important in the baby's growth and health. -
Week 11
In this week the baby is the size of a fig. It's teeth and bones are starting to grow stronger and its hands will soon appear and be able to close into tiny fists. -
Week 14
During this week the baby's brain impulses are starting to move the baby's thumbs, eyes, mouth, and many other things. -
Week 20
During this week the baby starts to get more active and kicks around in the womb more often. It is also swallowing more which is good for digestion. -
Week 24
During this week the baby's brain and taste buds are starting to develop. Also the baby weighs just over a pound and is about a foot long in length. -
Week 25
In this week the baby is growing more and more hair and its skin is becoming more smooth. -
Week 29
In this week the baby will be growing more. The head will increase in size for its brain to grow and its lungs and muscles are starting to mature. -
Week 38
In this week the all of the baby's organs and other parts have all matured and are all pretty much ready for life outside of the mother's womb.
