Week 6
At week 6, the baby is called an Embryo.
The major orgins and the whole baby start to develope and you can even see the heart beating.
Eventhough they are developing, they are only still a quarter of an inch long. -
week 9
The baby has now grown to nearly an inch long.
Her apperance looks more human and all of the major body parts are accounted for.
The heart finishes dividing into four chambers and the valvs are developing.

week 12
The beaby's reflexses are going to start up and there fingers and toes will clench and there eyes will clench.
If you prod your abdomen, your baby will squirm in response.
The kidney will also begin excreting urine into his bladder. -
week 15
The baby is naw 4 inches long and weighs 2 1/2 ounces.
There lungs begin to develope because she is buisy with moving the fluids inside them.
There legs are also growing longer than there arms and they can move all of there limbs and joints. -
week 19
The baby's sensory developmen is growing fast with her brain knoowing how to smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch.
You can even talk to them because thier ears are grown.
Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom. -
week 22
The baby is naw 11 inches long and weighs almost one pound.
Thier lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct.
They are also growing small tooth buds under the gums. -
week 27
The baby weighs almost 2 pounds like a head of cauliflower.
Also it is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended.
The baby is sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing their eyes, and perhaps even sucking their fingers. -
week 31
The baby measures over 16 inches long and weighs about 3.3 pounds.
The baby can turn his head from side to side.
The arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. -
week 36
The baby now weighs almost 6 pounds and adding on about an ounce a day.
The baby is more than 18 1/2 inches long.
The baby is shedding most of the downy covering of hair that covered her body as well as the vernix caseosa. -
week 40
The average newborn weighs about 7 1/2 pounds and is about 20 inches long.
HThe baby's skull bones are not yet fused, which allows them to overlap a bit if it's a snug fit through the birth canal during labor.
"Molding" is the reason your baby's noggin may look a little conehead-ish after birth but it is normal.
