His sophomore year, he transferred to St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California, a private school that former NBA point guard Jason Kidd went to, but due to lack of playing time, transferred to Oakland High, averaging 22 points a game. -
College
Dame attended Weber State college located in Ogden, Utah. Playing 4 seasons from 2008-2012. He won conference freshman of the yaer and finished his college career averaging 24 points his senior year and shooting 40% from three. He then declared for the NBA draft. -
NBA draft
Dame was drafted to the Portland Trail Blazers as the 6th pick in the 2012 NBA draft -
Rookie Season
Damian lillard finished his rookie season averaging 19 points and 6.5 assists leading the portland trail blazers to a 33-49 record. He broke Stephen Curry's three point record for threes by a rookie. He won the taco bells skills challenge, and won rookie of the year that season. -
Second Season
Lillard finished the 2013-2014 season avergaing 20 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. He led the Blazers to a 54-28 record and led them to the playoffs, also getting his first NBA all star selection. Lillard is the first in NBA history to participate in all 5 all-star events as Lillard was in the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday night, the Skills Challenge, Three-Point Shootout, and Dunk Contest on Saturday night, and the All-Star game on Sunday night -
Dame Time
In the first round of the playoffs, facing the rockets the Houston Rockets scored with just 0.9 seconds remaining, Damian Lillard hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to give the Portland Trail Blazers a miraculous 99-98 win in Game 6 and clinch a 4-2 first-round series victory. This is one of the best shots in playoff history. -
Dames Third Season
Dame finished the season averaging 21 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. They finished with a 51-31 record and the fourth seed in the west, losing to the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round. Dame scored a career high 41 points in a double overtime win against the San Antonio Spurs, hitting clutch shots and dunks. -
Dame Dolla signs with Adidas
Dame signed a contract with Adidas and will have his own signature shoe! The contract is said to be worth $100 million in the end. He released his first shoe, the Dame 1's, on November 13 2015 -
Dames Fourth Season
Dame ended this season averaging an astonishing 25 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. The blazers ended the season with a 44-38 record. Dame was not an all-star this year and was known as a "snub" because he deserved an all star this year. -
Snub?
Dame was cut from the 2015-2016 NBA all-star team. He had amazing stats and was doing great. He woke the sleepers up when the next game after all-star break he scored a career high scoring 51 points 7 assists, 6 steals and 0 turnovers against the defending champs the Golden State Warriors and led them to a win! -
Dame Dolla
Damian Lillard is also a great rapper. The best in the league. He dropped his first song "Soldier in the Game'' in July 2015, but he dropped a whole album called,'' The letter O'' on October 21, 2016 -
Dames 5th season
The 2016-2017 wasn't the best but Dame finished averaging 27 points 6 assists and 5 rebounds! They had a 41-41 record and made the 8th seed although falling to the Warriors in the first round. Even though Lillard had such a good season, once again he was left off the All star team. Lillard scored a new career high 59 points against the Jazz as well as knocking down 9 three pointers! Lillard scored 30 points or more 27 times this year! He scored 40 or more 5 times as well. Great season for Dame.
