    Newly Wed
My partner and I have started our life as newlyweds. We will hopefully be in a stable house and persuing our careers. Eventually be thinking about starting a new family.
  • New Parents

    New Parents
Our first child is born and we are adjusting to becoming new parents and are preparing for the years of our childs schooling to come. My husband will continue working and I will continue to stay at home until the child goes off to pre-school.
  • Raising A Teenager

    Raising A Teenager
The first born child is now just going into middle school and beginning to cope with puberty. As the child goes into high school they start dating and the parents are beginning to adjust and cope with the idea of the elder growing up. After high school the child moves out, goes to college and eventually may get married.
  • The Empty Net Stage

    The Empty Net Stage
There are no longer any children in the household and now the married couple are on there own again. They are still involved with their children but not as much as they used to be because the children could be off in college or starting a family of there own. The married couple are adjusting to living on there own again and to start to develop new interests.
  • Retirement

    Retirement
One or both spouses have retired and starting to pursue new interests such as traveling and volunteering. They would be spending time with family and grandchildren and giving use to the easy flow of retirement. In this stage they may experience the death of a spouse and have to get used to living on their own again or living with one of their children.
