Leaves and Dramatic Play
Today we will discuss at circle who everyone will be dressing up as for Halloween. We encourge the children to creat their own ideas, and make the costumes at home with families. We all know that this is time consuming. Keep in mind parents! Pintrest is a FANTASTIC source for these quick ideas and fixes! -
Nature Walk
We will continue to talk about the change in the weather and the way outside looks. We will talk about why trees lose their leaves, and will then go outside to collect leaves and later use them in a art project. -
Class Project
This will be a group activity. Leanring how to share paint, body space and awareness. and more about the changing of the trees! -
What is corn good for?
On this day we will introduce the concept of corn. Who eats it, how it grows, what is taste like, and also do an art project with corn. During this day the children will be allowed to go through a corn maze we set up in the yard. -
Halloween stories and family pumpkin painting!
Halloween is here! We invite families and friends to join us for stroies by the "camp fire" and pumpkin paiting. We also plan on having small side dishes and candy for all. Please feel free to bring a side or candy to contribute! -
Apples. Apples and More Apples!
We will talk about apples, how they grown, how many different kinds there are, and taste test several. On this day we will also be going to an apple orchard to pick our own, families are highly encouraged to join!
