The mechanical hound is sent to Montag with another of Beatty's warnings. -
Train reading
When Montag is on the train he begins to read aloud even though he is surronded by many others. -
Destroying society
Faber and Montag's plan is to destroy society from inside out. Faber is the brains and Montag is the eyes and hands. -
Fire engine
The fire engine reaches Montag's house which is the destination. Beatty tells Montag he needs to burn it himself. If Montag does this he will erase everything he ever had. -
River
Montag reaches the river and it heals all his worries and fears. -
Train tracks
Montag follows the train tracks until he sees a small ember of fire. The meeting of these men symbolizes a new beginning. -
A bomb in the city
Montag watches from the woods as the as the bomb explodes in the city. This closes who he once was.
