Our first exposure to media is Television. As a child, our parents saw the need in learning in building up knowledge and that we are more visual learners than reading/writing, so to help we were introduced to Television

Most of us are going to school to learn how to read and write and thus books became our medium in learning.

For entertainment purposes and to increase our knowledge, we were introduced to radio. This helped use our auditory senses to assess information.

As we know now to read, we can now read magazines. Most magazines that we read are purely educational. It is the only one that are suitable for our age at that time.

As we need to know various day to day happenings in our country and in our local city, without the use of TVs, we saw the need of reading newspapers. We also saw the need in newspaper in making honest reports in school that we were tasked to do.

As we grow older, we saw the need of every day conversation and the need for information fast, thus we saw the value of having a cellphone to our every day lives.

As we saw the need to make documents, spreadsheets, publications and presentations fast, we were exposed to the computers. Computers have a lot of programs to make our work fast.

As now we know how to use computers, we need a lot of information to help our various projects. So we were connected to the internet, exposing ourselves in this new world of media.
