A telephone keypad is the keypad installed on a push-button telephone or similar telecommunication device for dialing a telephone number. "The iconic 3310 mobile phone product of Nokia were so famous just a decade ago. It is the first mobile phone I've ever seen and touched. It's feature is basically for calling or text messaging but I'm not about it. The thing I can't forget was the epic game I've been mesmerized at. I even fight with my siblings just to play space impact." -
Walkman
Walkman is a Sony brand tradename, originally used for portable audio cassette players from the late 1970s onwards. In more recent years, it has been used by Sony to market digital portable audio/video MP3 players, as well as a line of Sony Ericsson mobile phones introduced in 2005. "When I was around 5 years old, my brother used to play music and listen to radio FM on his walkman. I used to listen to music with him and that's how he influences me of my genre and taste in music. -
Newspaper
A newspaper is a publication consisting of a number of large sheets of folded paper, on which news, advertisements, and other information is printed. "My dad used to read tabloid, I only noticed when I was on the first grade when I finally learned to read. I tried to read newspaper sometimes but my courage didn't last. The comic part there always annoys me, I always had no idea of what's going on in the story. I only enjoyed puzzle games, nothing more and nothing less". -
DVD/CD Player
A CD player is an electronic device that plays audio compact discs, which are a digital optical disc data storage format. DVD players are connected to a television to watch the DVD content, which could be a movie, a recorded TV show, or other content.
"This has became my favorite hobby until I had a cellphone. I love playing rock songs, raise the volume and then sing. Screams and shouts with my brothers and sisters are the best. Watching movies is not really our thing but we do sometimes." -
Radio
Radio is the technology of using radio waves to carry information, such as sound. The information in the waves can be extracted and transformed back into its original form. "It is on my grade school, the time when I appreciate this so called "Radio". I hear it every morning of the day, the only source of news in our home, with bonus songs. I'm sick of the songs, there exist none of my favorites. But slowly, I appreciate the good ol' songs and OPM's. Time for a duet when a beautiful song plays." -
Television
Television (TV) is a telecommunication medium used for transmitting moving images in two or three dimensions and sound. Television is a mass medium for advertising, entertainment and news. "When we got our new TV, a habit coordinated with my siblings started and it last for years. We all look forward to watch cartoon/anime shows every morning. That time, my only problem is to choose between playing outside or watch my favorite show but now the difference are worlds apart." feelingnostalgic -
Smartphones
Smartphones are cellular telephones with built-in applications and Internet access, so that they have become mobile computers. "I got my first smartphone back when I was in grade 6. This starts to change my habit, all I do was to play on it instead of playing out with friends. It doesn't last much long cause i don't know how to use it properly. Glad it got broke. Now, it is my study companion and I use it efficiently at my advantage. Music, movies, games, chatting and many more, I do it all." -
Computer
A computer is an electronic device that manipulates information, or data. It has the ability to store, retrieve, and process data.
"I became a computer literate officially back in 2015 (with certificate). This became a very helpful tool to create assignments, projects and to learn all by myself. I use it to type documents, send email, play games, and browse the Web. I also use it to edit or create spreadsheets, presentations, and even videos. It really is a great help to my study." -
Social Media
Social Media are websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking." Until two years ago, I don't have an access to these things. Yup, I am a late bloomer for a millenial and I'm glad about it. I'm grateful my precious childhood was not wasted nor disturbed by the internet world. Now, I always use social media but in a limited manner. I only have two social media accounts. Staying lowkey on the internet world is a must.
