Ferdinand Magellan was a Spanish explorer. He died in a battle in the Phillipines. His crew members finished the voyage and proved the world is round.

Lewis and Clark

May 21, 1804

Lewis and Clark's expedition officially started on May 21, 1804. President Thomas Jefferson sent them to study Native American tribes, plants and anima life. They meet Sacajawea (November?) who was an interpretor.
