    Definition: This policy stated all nations were able to trade freely with China. The united states suggested china be open to all nations that want to trade with them. This policy did not include the consent of the chinese,and was another form of imperialism

    Definition- This added onto the Monroe Doctorine which stated Eruope couldn't interfere in North and South America. This one stated that Eruope could now collect debts and that US would collect them for them.

    Definition: The Dollar Diplomacy was a United States effort to gain control of Latin territories using economic loans. If they did not "pay" our loan back we would force our way in the country and tell our people we had the right to because, we loaned them money and they did not pay us back. It was a "genorious" effort on our part.

    Definition: He was gunned down with his wife and he was next in line for the throne of Austria-Hungary. This was the final straw and what started WW1

    Impact on Foriegn Policy: This was the last straw for Austria-Hungary and they went to war because, of this event. I don't think they would be in favor of foriegn allies at this point they would just want revenge.

    Definition: Pledge was by Germany to the United Stattes before they entered worl war 1 and it was a policy for unrestricted submarine warfare which let merchant ships be torpedoded but not passenger ships.

    Impact on Foriegn Policy: This Policy made it as foreign ships to be basically destroyed without warning so they were not in favor of working with foriegn regions at this point in time.

    Definition: This telegram was picked up by british intellegence and it said that Germany would give Mexico extreme financial aid if they agreed to be Germany's ally in future conflicts with Germany and the US.

    Impact on Forieng Policy: Thia Foreign Policy aided other countries to make deals with other countries for potenial allies.

    Definition: This made it a requirment for men between the ages of 21 and 30 to register for the military so that way if they had to do a draft they would have every man on file and they would have to join if there were every to be a world war 3.

    Definition: The United States made it illegal to give out information needed by enimies or to promote success of their enimies and would fine them $10,000 and put them in prison for 20 years. (To me this was a nationalism effort by the US)

    Impact on Foreign Policy: This Act told Americans that you are with the US or you are againist them so this in turn was a diffeent aspect on foreign policy than they were used to.
