    According to Estep (2008), systematic training, train the trainer, and instrucitonal system design are established. Because of the men and women enlisting in the war, the demand to replace those workers was high. With little time, training was developed to train the new workers which would help them work faster and more thoroughy (Estep, 2008).

  • Economy boomed

    Economy boomed
    Training is found to be very effective but costly. According to Estep (2008), programmed learning, Programmed learning was established for the means of providing feedback to the learner. The learner would be asked a series of questions and would receive responses whether or not the answer was correct. Bloom's taxonomy and Kirkpatrick's four levels of evaluation were also established to provide feedback (Estep, 2008).

    training objectives and teaching machines training was established. These trainings were established to be able to sustain a state that benefits the community and the world (Estep, 2008).

    According to Estop (2008), case method, sensitivity training and laboratory method are established. Trainers now unerstand that productivity and performace stem from social and technical aspects need to be factored into training (Estop, 2008).

    Productivity slowed down
    According to Estop (2008), assertiveness training, costbenefit analysis, electronic workstations and laptops, crosscultural training, and competency-based training established as productivity slowed down, putting budgets on the tight edge. Since productivity slowed down, companies had to down size. These trainings helped determine how to downsize and to what extent (Estop, 20008).

    According to Estop (2008), e-learning, the learning enterprise and learning organizations were established. These trainings were the result of enhances to the technology from 1960's machines (Estop, 2008)
