Due to many women entering the workforce, assertiveness training was developed. -

Computer based training and online learning provided greater accessibility to training. This was the beginning of E-learning. Blending learning and performance support job aids also can into the picture. This was also the year President Clinton endorsed training programs. -

The launch of ASTD WLP scorecard outlined real-time benchmarking and decision support tools. -

This year I-pods, cell phone mobile learning (M-learning) ,Web 2.0 tech's, Wikis, and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) were developed.
