First mouse
the first mouse was invented by Douglas Engalbart in 1963 and was patented in 1970. it had wheels that turned as you moved the mouse. it had a red button on the top left corner. It is called the mouse because Douglas Engelbart said it looked like a rodent to him and the name stuck.
