It starts after the Conclusion of Peace and the changes to the legislation concerning industry and commerce. On 3 March 1861, 6 years later, the emancipation law was signed and published. -
The Assassination of Alexander II
He was the Emperor of Russia from March 2, 1855 to March 13, 1881. A nickname Alexander the II was Alexander the Liberator. He was assassinated by Ignaty Grinevitsky. He died of an explosive that was thrown at the emperor’s feet. -
Russo-Japanese War
The Russian Japanese War began when there was a naval attack on Port Arthur. It was known as the First Great War of the 20th Century. The war ended with the Treaty of Peace in September of 1905. -
Bloody Sunday
Bloody Sunday was a protest by citizens where they walked to St. Petersburg. The troops of Nicholas II were waiting and shoot at the people and 96 people were killed. That is how Nicholas II got his nickname Bloody Nicholas. -

The Revolution of 1905 was a mass political and social unrest the spread in Russia. It started on the day of Bloody Sunday. The Revolution of 1905 ended on June 16, 1907. -

The March Revolution
At the beginning of February, Petrograd workers began several strikes and demonstrations. There were over 50,000 people on strike. The Tsar ordered the army to suppress the rioting by force troops began to mutiny. -
Czar Nicholas II abdicates the Russian throne
Nicholas II’s abdicate followed the February Revolution. They family was imprisoned in the Alexander Palace. The family was then killed a year later.
