The Proclamation of 1763
The proclamation of 1763 was signed by King Goerge III, this stops any English settlements that are located west of the Appalachain mountians, and is required for those that are already located in that region to head East to help tensions with the Native Americans. -
The Currency Act
Was passed after the French and Indian war ended. The act banned the use of paper money in all colonies. -
The English Parliament
Nobody set out to create Parliament. It developed naturally out of the daily political needs of the English King and his government. Nor did it develop continuously over time, but went through short periods of rapid growth. -
The Sugar Act
Also known as the American Revenue Act or the AMerican Duties Act. This act was passed by the Parliment of Great Britian. The act was for a three cent tax on foriegn refined sugar and increased taxes on coffee, indigo, and certian types of wine. It banned importion of rum and French wines. -
Townshend Revenue Acts
This act was for taxes on glass, paint, oil, lead, paper, and tea. -

Is a written document that addresses a closed group of people. -
Boston Massacre
Also called the Incident on King Street by the British. British army soilders killed five civilian men and injered six others. -
Boston Tea Party
It is reffered to "the destruction of the tea". It was a polictical protest by the sons of liberty, because of tea taxes. The tea was dumped into the Boston Harber. -
Battle of Trenton
This battle was taken place during the American Revolutionary War after general George Washington crossed the Delare River North of Trenton.
