Over time, abolitionists grew more angry in their demands. The reason of why this could have cause the civil was was that there were people that wanted to have slavery so reasons like that caused the Civil War.

    Nat Turner was a Black slave who he and more people had killed about 60 White men. Nat turner along with 55 people went violently uprising against slavery. That it why Nat's rebellion is one of the causes of the Civil War; for standing up for what belives in. in what he thinks its fair.

    Fugitive Slave Act/Underground Railroad

    The Fugitive Slave Act was part of the Compromise of 1850 between Southern slave-holding interests and Northern Free-Soilers. Northern fears of a "slave power conspiracy" was heightened by The Fugitive Slave Act which was the most controversial element of the 1850 compromise.
    The underground movement is responsible for about 70,000 slaves escaped into Canada.

The novel also shows how slavery really was, and as well as how christianity can help resolve anything like slavery. The book helped cause the cicil war because it went against slavery, and thats what some people didnt like.

    the right of slave owners to take their slaves into the Western territories, thereby negating the doctrine of popular sovereignty and severely undermining the platform of the newly created Republican Party. The reson of it could have caused the Civil War is because most of the people were not agreeing to what was done.
