Blaise Pascal
In 1623, a man by the name of Blaise Pascal made a machine to aid his father's accounting job by inventing the early functioning calculator. It worked by a series of gears and widgets that turned to give you the answer to the numbers you inputed. Although the exact date of the invention is not known, it was said to happen in 1623 and revolutionized the mathematics and functions at the time.

First Computer
In 1936, the Z1 was invented and was the first computer to excel in what it was supposed to do. It used Binary for programming. This was one of, if not the, first computer to succesfully use coding to function. Konrad Zuse would later invent better versions of the "Z" prototype.

The Invention of the Z4
In 1950, Konrad Zuse invented the Z4. The purpose of the Z4 was to be able to store thousands of words into it. Konrad hid the Z4 in a military truck to go to the United States so that it could not be spotted and destroyed. Its memory was very high at the time and worked on punch cards.

In 1966, the computer language called BCPL was in use. It was invented by a colege student by the name of Martin Richards. This computer language, compared to APL, was much easier to use. It was the first programming to write the infamos, "Hello World".

Citrix was a cloud based system that allowed people to acces files from place to place. This is even used in York County today. This program is udes all over the world and was wildly popular when it first came out. This made it so that people didn't have to carry a flash drive, or restart their work. They could just download and acces Citrix from just about any computer and acces these files.
