During the Cuban Missile Crisis, the US sent planes to further investigate Cuba. One of the planes was shot down while taking pictures. -

The building of the Berlin Wall began. This separated West Berlin and East Berlin. -

The US becomes actively involved in stopping the spread of communism in Vietnam. -
Cuban Missile Crisis
JFK learns of nuclear missiles in Cuba. He creates a plan to remove the missiles, but in return the US has to remove their missiles from Turkey.
