The Medieval period begins
A political and economic system called Feudalism sparks in England by William the Conqueror that says the King owns the kingdom. -

Henry 2
William dies and England has problems with the power of the Barons. Once Henry 1 dies the Barons begin to be violent. -
1154
Henry II takes over.
After all of the fighting was done the son of Matilda, Henry II took over and reformed the judical system. -
1215
Magna Carta
Richard the Lionhearted spent 10 years fighting the crusades while his brother John ruled England in his absence. The court went bankrupt forcing John to sign the Magna Carta. -
1295
Parliament is created
Henry III sets up a concil of Barons called parliment -
1337
100 Year War
During Edward III reign a war between France and England erupted and lasted for over a hundread years. -
1453
An end to the War
The war between England and France finally ended. Yet another co nflict arose but between two rival families. -
1485
The Medieval Period dies.
The war of roses ended when the Lancastarian Henry killed the yorkist king Richard.
