Pontiacs's Rebellion was a war launched against British by dissatisfied Native Americans. The British colonists uses brutal tactics such as giving the Native Americans small pox. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth 5 days after the surrender at Appotamax Courthouse. John Wilkes Booth was a sympathizer of the South and felt Abraham Lincoln deserved to die. This was important because Lincoln was the last hope the south had at a peaceful reconstruction.
