Compare and Contrast
Today we will discuss our homework worksheets, and what we think of the novel. We will not read any futher for the week. Today we will complete an comparing and contrasting assignment. We will compare Evangeline, to ourselves. What characteristics do you and Evangeline have a like? What chracteristics do you and Evangeline have that differ? We will complete, and illustrate this assignment in class, to post them outside of our classroom for all to see and enjoy. Prepare for a short quiz FRIDAY! -
Testing your understanding!
Today we will take a short quiz on the first two chapters of the book. The quiz will entail simple questions such as who is the main character, where does the story take place etc. This will be a short six question quiz, that will ask general questions. We will go over the information in class constantly before the quiz is given. -
New chapter!!
Today we will review the quiz given on Friday. After reviewing the quizes we will pickup where we left off with our reading. We will try to complete the chapter, and discuss what we have read. -
More Reading
Today we will continue reading, as well as discussing the story. We will complete the chapter, and the students will have a worksheet for homework. -
What Do You Think Will Happen??
Today we will review the worksheet assigned for homework, and answer any questions. There is one last chapter that we will read, but before completing the story we will write a one page conclusion of the story. What do you think will happen? Do you think that Evangeline will find her parents? Write your very own conclusion to the story. -

Today we will complete the story and discover if Evangeline finds her parents. After completing the story we will review, and answer any questions raised. -
