Internet
I had to use the internet throughout the creation of my coursework product. First of all I used the internet to research before I could start planing my product. I found it very useful as I was able to use websites such as SurveyMonkey to conduct specific audience research for my product. I learned how to create a precise survey that was short and straight to the point so I had the relevant research I needed. -
Internet (continued)
I also used Wix to create the blog for my coursework. I learned how to correctly format the website and managed to make it easy to navigate. I had used Wix before but I feel like I was able to enhance my skills and make a more proficient website than I could in the past. -

What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing your product?

Panasonic Video Camera
To create my product I had to learn how to use a Panasonic professional ag-hmc40 avchd camera. I had never used this type of camera before I started college but I had used similar. I was able to learn how to use the camera confidently and learn how to use the focus and the zoom in a way that benefited the story and make my product seem more like a real life product. I believe that I have developed my camera skills from when I created my preliminary task. -
GoPro
For my coursework I used a GoPro Hero 4. I had never really used this camera before I created my product. The quality of this camera was different but I used that to my advantage as I used it to make it look like the character's phone camera. I also used this camera for behind the scenes as I learned how to film a timelapse video that I used as evidence for my blog. -
GoPro (continued)
The process of creating my coursework and using these different types of cameras helped me realise what I could do with them and how I could use their different settings and filming styles to my advantage. -
Zoom Mic
I used a voice over throughout the opening scene of my coursework. I recorded this several times as I was also learning how to use the Zoom Audio Recorder. I found that I was able to record the best possible quality voice over that I could after I used this device a few times and learned how to make it work the best. -
Adobe Premiere Pro
I had used Premiere before but I realised that this was the biggest project I would be editing by myself. Having less help when editing enabled me to really understand the software and discover how I could use it to the best of my ability. I learned how to encode clips and export my product properly without guidance. -
Adobe Premiere Pro (continued)
I was able to find lot of different transitions and video effects and try them all to see which fit my coursework best. I now believe that I am a more competent editor after the process of creating my coursework.
