Evacuation of Dunkirk
From May 27th to June 4th 1940 over 300,000 allied solders where on the beaches of Dunkirk in France as they where retreating from France because Germany was quickly taking over. So the Primeinster of Britain ordered all troops to leave. This effected Britain as they all lost posts in France meaning they lost their grasp, and had to leave, but it was great for Germany as it was easier to take over with minimal effort.
