Battle Of Britain
The Battle of Britain is a military campaign of the Second World War. The Royal Air Force and Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy defended the U.K. against large scale attacks by Nazi Germany's air force(Luftwaffe). In September 1940 the U.S. agreed to transfer of 50 old destroyers to the Britain fleet in exchange for naval bases in the Western Hemisphere. -
Operation Barbarossa
Hitler broke the German-Soviet non-aggression pact of June 22, 1941. Germany invaded the Soviet Union. Operation Barbarossa took place in Russia. Hitler wanted a nonaggression pact with the Soviet Union so that his armies could invade Poland Virtually unopposed by the major power. -

Yalta Conference was a World War ll meeting compromised the heads of government of the United States, United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union, represented by president Franklin D. Roosevelt, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Premier Joseph Stalin, respectively to discuss Europe's post war reorganization. The conference convened in the Livadia Palace Near Yalta in Crimea.
